Title: A Tranquil Anchorage This is one of my favorite anchorages in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia, Canada. This was the view from my boat as the sun set. This painting received the Award of Merit in a maritime exhibit. |

Title: Harmony I was attracted to this boat by the green haul, water reflections and the name on it. Harmony was moored in the San Juan Islands of Washington when I was up there sailing on my boat. |

Title: Nice Row of Seats This dinghy was moored next to me when I was visting Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, WA. This dink was hand made by the owner. This painting won The Director's Award in a maritime exhibit. |

Title: Northwest Gill-netters I just had to paint these gill netters when I saw their reflections in the early morning calm of Friday Harbor. Most mount their nets on the stern, but these are a variation called bowpickers. Their mooring in the San Juan Islands of Washington State gives them easy access to salmon fishing. This painting received a Merit Award in a maritime exhibit. |

Title: Morning Light This is one of my favorite anchorages in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia, Canada. My two friend’s were anchored close by as the early sun rise lit up their boats against the dark cove background. The warm sun felt good in the cool morning air. |
